Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their established team. This is a full-time position within a small animal general practice, working with dogs and cats. The practice has been serving the community for over 30 years and is known for delivering high-quality, compassionate care with a strong emphasis on continuity and client relationships.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload including preventative care, medical and surgical cases, and more complex procedures. Clinical responsibilities include general practice medicine with opportunities to work on both routine and advanced cases, supported by a collaborative and efficient team environment. The role offers clinical autonomy while maintaining strong team support. Doctor hours follow a full-time schedule. This position is open to veterinarians looking to work in a collaborative and well-supported setting.
Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The practice operates from a 12,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility equipped with advanced diagnostics and surgical capabilities. Services offered include preventative care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, urgent care, boarding, grooming, and rehabilitation services. The hospital combines modern equipment and infrastructure with a focus on personalized, continuity-based care, allowing strong relationships to be built between veterinarians, clients, and patients.
Team
The team consists of four DVMs supported by an experienced and tenured support staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient working environment that values teamwork, communication, and high-quality patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
