Job Description

Introduction
This AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in West Bountiful, Utah is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced and collaborative team. Located just north of Salt Lake City, the practice combines the variety of urgent care medicine with the continuity of general practice, allowing doctors to build long-term client relationships while managing a diverse caseload. The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm, offering a four-day work week with no weekends or on-call responsibilities.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you’ll provide comprehensive preventative, medical, dental, and surgical care for companion animals while managing cases ranging from routine wellness appointments to urgent care presentations. You’ll utilise advanced diagnostic tools including in-house ultrasonography and digital dentistry, perform a variety of surgical procedures, and collaborate closely with an experienced clinical team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes. The role also offers structured mentorship and opportunities to continue developing your clinical interests in a supportive environment.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited, Cat Friendly Practice is equipped to deliver high-quality companion animal medicine with a dedicated rehabilitation centre and modern diagnostic capabilities. The hospital offers in-house ultrasonography, high-volume digital dentistry, laparoscopy, and advanced surgical services, creating an environment where veterinarians can manage a broad range of medical and surgical cases while practising to a high clinical standard.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
