Job Description
This privately owned, multi-species practice is looking for an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. With two experienced doctors, they currently provide care for cats, dogs, small mammals, pocket pets, reptiles, and even the occasional farm animal. They are open to hiring a doctor who wishes to focus solely on cats and dogs or one interested in a wider range of species—including the potential to expand into avian and large animal services.
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 7 PM (except Thursdays, which are 8 AM to 6 PM) and Saturdays from 9 AM to 2 PM. They offer flexible scheduling, allowing doctors to set their own appointment structure. Each doctor is highly supported, with a minimum 4:1 tech-to-doctor ratio.
The hospital is well-equipped with digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, in-house IDEXX labs, ultrasound, ECG, laser therapy, and dedicated surgical and dental suites. One of their veterinarians offers acupuncture services and would be happy to provide mentorship in this area.
Beyond veterinary care, the clinic fosters a family-oriented atmosphere with monthly team-building activities such as group meals, bowling, and escape rooms.
