Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The practice was built to serve a vibrant, fast-growing community with modern, relationship-focused veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative, family-oriented team that values open communication and personalised care.

Working Hours / Rota
The practice is open Monday to Tuesday from 8am to 6pm, Wednesday to Thursday from 8am to 7pm, and Friday from 8am to 5pm. The role is open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians. Specific doctor hours, and after-hours requirements are to be discussed with the practice.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver comprehensive veterinary care across a varied caseload. Clinical responsibilities include routine wellness visits, preventative care, diagnostic testing, dentistry, and soft tissue surgery, as well as urgent care appointments during regular business hours. The role involves performing and overseeing dental procedures with full-mouth digital radiographs, professional cleanings, periodontal care, and advanced oral surgery. Soft tissue procedures such as spays, neuters, mass removals, cystotomy, splenectomy, and exploratory surgeries are included, with orthopaedic cases supported by a visiting mobile surgeon. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The practice combines advanced medicine with a warm, patient-focused approach and places a strong emphasis on comfort and low-stress visits, supported by a Fear Free Certified team. Facilities include a state-of-the-art in-house diagnostic lab, digital radiography, ultrasound, and endoscopy capabilities. Services offered include preventative care, advanced diagnostics, comprehensive dental care, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic procedures through a visiting specialist, and urgent care during normal operating hours.

Team
The team currently includes one DVM and a tenured support staff. The environment is collaborative and supportive, with a strong focus on teamwork, clear communication, and creating a calm, welcoming experience for clients and patients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
