Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This hospital provides care for cats and dogs and is looking for a doctor who can bring experience and skill to support their established general practice.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm, and Saturday from 8:00am to 2:00pm. It is closed on Sundays. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the position can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-service general practice position, with responsibilities including providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience, as the hospital is seeking a veterinarian who can confidently manage a varied caseload and support the ongoing success of the practice.

Practice Details
The hospital is well equipped and features four exam rooms, new digital x-ray, new dental radiography, and ultrasound. The facility is tidy and clean, providing a professional and comfortable working environment. Services include full-service general practice and urgent care.

Team
The team includes three full-time DVMs supported by experienced and friendly support staff, working with a 3:1 technician-to-doctor ratio to ensure excellent patient care and efficient workflows.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
