Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on a full-time basis, working with cats, dogs, and exotics. This is an opportunity to join a modern, full-service hospital with a strong focus on mentorship, particularly in exotic animal care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will provide comprehensive veterinary care including diagnostics, treatment planning, and preventative medicine across a varied caseload. Responsibilities include surgery, dentistry, wellness care, urgent care, and internal medicine. You will build strong client relationships, communicate treatment plans effectively, and collaborate closely with the veterinary and support team. There is also the opportunity to develop skills in exotic animal medicine with mentorship available. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This full-service veterinary hospital, established in 2021, features a spacious and modern facility equipped with in-house labs, digital radiographs, dental radiographs, and ultrasound. Services offered include surgery, dental care, exotic pet care, urgent care, animal rehabilitation, and spay and neuter procedures. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and is closed on weekends. The practice emphasizes a supportive environment with access to mentorship, particularly in exotic cases, and a commitment to high-quality care for a diverse patient population.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
