Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital providing care for small animals and pocket pets, currently seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team.

Working Hours / Rota
This part-time role follows the hospital’s regular business hours: Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Wednesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The hospital is closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Scheduling is flexible within these hours to support part-time availability.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering general practice care, including wellness, internal medicine, dentistry, and surgery. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates looking to grow in a supportive and well-equipped clinical environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and offers a diverse range of services including acupuncture, behavioral and nutritional counseling, dentistry, flea control programs, internal medicine, laser rehabilitation therapy, surgery, and comprehensive pet wellness care. The caseload includes small animals and pocket pets, and the practice culture emphasizes a commitment to high-quality care and integrative services.

Team
The team consists of five DVMs and ten support staff members. The environment is collaborative and supportive, providing opportunities for mentorship and teamwork across all levels of experience.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
