Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital serving cats and dogs, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This full-service GP practice is dedicated to providing compassionate, gold-standard medicine to the Webster community, where doctors, technicians, and support staff work together to deliver exceptional care for pets and their families.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Saturdays from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, with doctors rotating one Saturday per month. The Associate Veterinarian role can be either full-time or part-time, with hours open to discussion. The hospital values work-life balance by respecting protected lunch hours from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm and ensuring time for notes and follow-ups. Standard appointments are 30 minutes, with the option to accommodate drop-off cases.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This is a full-service general practice position where you will provide comprehensive care for cats and dogs, including wellness, dentistry, surgeries, and urgent-care cases. Whether you are an experienced practitioner or a new graduate eager to learn, you’ll find a supportive environment here where your growth and well-being are prioritized.

Practice Details
For the past 19 years, the hospital has proudly served the Webster community with compassionate, gold-standard veterinary care. The practice is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, cold laser therapy, Idexx in-house lab machines, and utilizes the Pulse medical record system. Additionally, AI-assisted note-taking through Scribenote enhances efficiency and record accuracy. The hospital provides a diverse caseload including wellness, dentistry, surgeries, and urgent-care cases, maintaining a strong focus on teamwork and community-driven service.

Team
This is a one-doctor practice supported by a skilled, drama-free, and collaborative team. Leadership is actively involved, and technicians provide strong clinical support with a 1:2 doctor-to-tech ratio (1:3 on surgery days), fostering an environment that prioritizes teamwork, communication, and high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
