Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Caring for dogs and cats, this AAHA accredited hospital is recognised for its commitment to clinical excellence and high-quality small animal medicine. Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will build lasting relationships with clients and their pets while serving as a trusted partner in their lifelong health. You will lead patient care from diagnosis through treatment, maintaining high standards of medicine and delivering personalised care. Responsibilities include performing wellness examinations, diagnostics, advanced medical case management, surgical procedures, and client education. You will communicate findings and treatment plans clearly, empowering clients to make informed decisions regarding their pets’ care. The role also involves working closely with a supportive paraprofessional team and contributing to a positive hospital culture. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
This AAHA accredited small animal hospital is dedicated to delivering advanced diagnostics and comprehensive treatment options for dogs and cats. Services include wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced medical care, and surgical procedures. The practice utilises ultrasound and provides exposure to advanced orthopaedic cases. Team members benefit from access to extensive educational resources, continuing education opportunities, mentorship programmes, and structured career development pathways. Hospital hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and closed on Sundays. The hospital promotes a collaborative culture where continuous improvement, professional development, and high-quality patient care remain central to daily practice.

Team
The hospital is staffed by 3 veterinarians and a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative and supportive, encouraging teamwork, mentorship, professional growth, and open communication to help every team member succeed while delivering exceptional care to patients and clients.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
