Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The practice sees cats, dogs, and exotics, with experience working with exotics considered a plus and the opportunity to help grow and support an expanding exotic patient base.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of GP responsibilities, managing a varied caseload across cats, dogs, and exotics. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian and offers flexibility around doctor hours, which are open to discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital provides a full scope of GP services and is well equipped to support day-to-day veterinary care. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm and Saturday from 8am to 12pm, with the practice closed on Sundays.

The team consists of 1 DVM supported by a great team of support staff. The hospital is known for its positive, drama-free culture and strong sense of collaboration. Every team member is cross-trained and ready to support one another, creating an environment where no task is “below” anyone and patient care always comes first. This is a group that works together seamlessly, takes pride in what they do, and genuinely enjoys coming to work each day.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
