Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their AAHA-accredited small animal practice. This hospital focuses on companion animals and is looking for a veterinarian to deliver high-quality care across wellness, medical, and surgical services within a collaborative and well-supported environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Saturday from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm, with every other Saturday required. The position is available on a full-time or part-time basis, with a flexible schedule designed to support work-life balance and shared responsibilities across appointments and procedures.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves managing a variety of small animal cases with a strong emphasis on wellness care, internal medicine, surgery, and dentistry. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality patient care, performing diagnostics, and collaborating with the veterinary team to support positive clinical outcomes. There is opportunity to pursue and develop individual clinical interests, including soft tissue surgery, dentistry, or other specialized areas. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship and support available.

Practice Details
The hospital is AAHA-accredited with a long-standing presence in the community and offers a wide range of services including preventive care, internal medicine, surgery, dentistry, cardiology, ophthalmology, reproductive services, and advanced diagnostics. The facility is equipped with digital radiology, ultrasound, endoscopy, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, surgical suite, and isolation ward. Additional services include behavioral and nutritional counseling, grooming, and wellness programs. The practice promotes a high standard of care supported by modern equipment, collaborative workflows, and access to ongoing professional development resources.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a collaborative and experienced veterinary team. The environment is close-knit and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on communication, mentorship, and delivering high-quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
