Introduction
Our client is a practice looking to hire an Associate Equine Veterinarian / Sports Medicine Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. Established in 1992, this well-established referral and ambulatory equine practice is dedicated to delivering exceptional equine medical and surgical care to a diverse clientele, including hunter/jumpers, dressage horses, western performance horses, racehorses, breeding operations, pleasure horses, and beloved companions. The practice is seeking a motivated Associate Equine Veterinarian with a special interest in sports medicine and lameness to join its experienced team.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of Equine Veterinarian responsibilities with a primary focus on sports medicine and lameness. You will perform comprehensive lameness evaluations and diagnostic workups, utilizing advanced diagnostic imaging, including digital radiography and ultrasonography, to accurately diagnose orthopedic conditions. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for sport horse and performance horse patients, administering regenerative medicine therapies such as IRAP, PRP, and other biologic treatments, and collaborating closely with surgeons and specialists in the management of complex orthopedic and medical cases. The role also includes participating in both ambulatory and hospital-based appointments, sharing emergency and on-call responsibilities within a supportive team environment, and maintaining exceptional communication with clients and referring veterinarians to ensure continuity of care. This opportunity is suited to veterinarians with an interest or established experience in equine sports medicine and lameness. Ideal candidates will have experience or interest in advanced musculoskeletal ultrasonography, lameness diagnosis and management of sport horse athletes, interpretation of advanced imaging modalities including radiography and nuclear scintigraphy, regenerative and biologic therapies for orthopedic conditions, and performance horse medicine and rehabilitation. Preference will be given to candidates with advanced training or board certification in Equine Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation or Surgery, certification through the International Society of Equine Locomotor Pathology (ISELP), and/or certification in chiropractic care or spinal manipulation therapy. However, motivated veterinarians looking to further develop their skills in sports medicine are encouraged to apply.

Practice Details
The practice is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing continuous support for equine patients and clients. The practice offers advanced diagnostic imaging, surgical services, hospitalization, sports medicine, rehabilitation, and ambulatory care, delivering comprehensive equine veterinary services across a diverse caseload. The clinic is equipped with a large range of advanced diagnostic equipment, supporting advanced diagnostics and patient care.

You will be joining a team of 4 DVMs, supported by a passionate and highly experienced team of certified technicians, veterinary assistants, and client service representatives. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
