Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing mobile veterinary services for dogs and cats and is seeking a full-time or part-time Mobile Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity offers the chance to deliver high-quality veterinary care directly in clients’ homes while being supported by a collaborative hospital team. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Mobile Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care in clients’ homes, delivering thoughtful, personalised medicine using modern diagnostics and treatment options. Responsibilities include building lasting client relationships, educating pet owners on preventative care, managing medical records, responding to urgent cases when required, and collaborating closely with the wider veterinary team. The role also includes representing the practice within the local community while maintaining a strong focus on preventative medicine, client education, and comprehensive patient care. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The practice is a modern, forward-thinking hospital with a strong emphasis on preventative care, client education, and personalised veterinary medicine. Mobile services include skin and ear cytology, microscopic evaluation of lumps and masses, heartworm and tick screening, feline leukemia and FIV testing, glucose testing, blood collection, faecal and urine collection and analysis. Laboratory samples are typically processed within 24 hours, with urgent cases receiving expedited processing through the hospital. Mobile digital radiography is available for in-home diagnostics, with immediate results, while advanced surgical procedures are performed in the practice’s state-of-the-art hospitals. Dental services include professional cleanings, polishing, dental radiographs, nerve blocks, tooth extractions, and oral surgery. The practice also offers acupuncture and FDA-cleared laser therapy for the treatment of pain, inflammation, post-operative recovery, orthopaedic conditions, gastrointestinal disorders, respiratory disease, allergies, immune-mediated conditions, cancer support, and other medical concerns. Modern anaesthesia protocols and advanced patient monitoring equipment are utilised throughout surgical procedures to ensure patient safety. The practice fosters a professional yet supportive culture focused on collaboration, teamwork, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Team
The veterinary team works collaboratively to provide high-quality care both in clients’ homes and within the hospital environment. Team members regularly participate in continuing education, including advanced dental training, creating a supportive environment that values collaboration, professional development, and clinical excellence.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
