Introduction
Our client is an AAHA accredited small animal hospital with 3 locations across DC that is hiring an Associate Veterinarian. The hospital treats cats and dogs and is open to both full-time and part-time veterinarians. This opportunity is ideal for a doctor looking to provide high-quality small animal medicine within a collaborative and well-supported network of hospitals.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical care for small animal patients, focusing on delivering excellent patient outcomes and client service. The role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of cases within a supportive clinical environment. The hospital is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with excellent mentorship available for those beginning their careers. Scheduling is flexible and open for discussion, with both full-time and part-time options available. Veterinarians will also participate in a Saturday morning rotation.

Practice Details
This hospital operates from 8 am to 7 pm on weekdays, with Saturday morning hours from 8:30 am to 2 pm. The hospital prioritizes investment in technology and educational opportunities that elevate the standard of patient care. The practice is AAHA accredited and also holds Cat Friendly certification, reflecting its commitment to maintaining high standards of veterinary medicine. Services offered include wellness and preventative medicine, testing and diagnostics such as radiology, surgical procedures, cardiology, ophthalmology, pain management, laser therapy, acupuncture, behavioural therapy, and Traditional Chinese veterinary medicine.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
