Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. This opportunity is available on either a full-time or part-time basis with flexible scheduling options. The hospital cares for cats and dogs and is looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about providing high-quality veterinary care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will be responsible for treating and diagnosing patients while delivering a high standard of patient care. The role includes performing surgery and working closely with clients to support the health and wellbeing of their pets. The hospital offers flexible scheduling options and is happy to discuss doctor hours with the successful candidate. Applications are welcomed from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with mentorship available to help support professional development.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Sunday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm. They provide a range of services including behaviour consultations, dermatology, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, senior pet care, and urgent care. The practice operates from a modern facility and has all the equipment needed to provide a high standard of veterinary medicine.

Team
The team consists of two DVMs, a hospital manager, and a dedicated team of support staff who work together to provide quality patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
