Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital looking to hire an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. This soon-to-open practice will provide high-quality care for cats and dogs, offering an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new hospital from the very beginning while helping to shape its future alongside the founding team.
Role Description and Responsibilities
This role encompasses the full scope of GP responsibilities, providing high-quality preventative, medical, and surgical care to a companion animal caseload. You will be responsible for consultations, diagnostics, treatment planning, surgery, dentistry, and client communication while working collaboratively to establish exceptional clinical standards within the new practice. The hospital offers flexible scheduling options with no on-call or late-night expectations, promoting an excellent work-life balance. The position is open to veterinarians of all experience levels.
Practice Details
Hospital opening hours are to be determined. The practice will provide the full scope of GP services alongside Urgent Care, allowing clinicians to manage a varied and rewarding caseload. The hospital will be equipped with, but not limited to, a modern Surgical Laser, Digital X-ray, Digital Dental X-ray, and Ultrasound, ensuring veterinarians have access to advanced diagnostic and treatment technology from day one. As an AAHA Accredited practice, the hospital is committed to delivering exceptional standards of patient care within a modern clinical environment.
Team
You will be joining the Practice Manager in establishing and shaping this brand-new clinic, creating the culture, workflows, and patient experience from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity to play an integral role in the growth of the hospital while building a collaborative, supportive environment focused on delivering outstanding patient care and client service.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
