Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team on either a full-time or part-time basis. The hospital provides care for cats and dogs and is looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This position offers the opportunity to practice high-quality veterinary medicine by diagnosing and treating patients while seeing both appointments and surgeries. The hospital is open to discussing doctor hours and creating a preferred schedule that suits the successful candidate. They are open to welcoming either an experienced veterinarian or a motivated new graduate, with mentorship available for those who would benefit from additional support.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday to Saturday and is closed on Tuesdays. They offer a range of services including wellness care, dentistry, surgeries, senior pet care, diagnostics, behaviour services, and some urgent care. The practice features modern facilities and is well equipped to ensure a high standard of care for both patients and clients.

Team
The team consists of one DVM, a hospital manager, and a supportive team who work collaboratively to provide excellent patient care. They have built an excellent team environment where collaboration and support are valued.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
