Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing full-service veterinary care and is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their established team in Warrior, Alabama. This is a well-established practice with a long-standing reputation for delivering comprehensive care across a diverse range of species.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Thursday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, with Sunday closed. The role offers flexibility for full-time or part-time arrangements. Specific doctor hours and after-hours requirements are not provided.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality care across a varied caseload, including wellness and prevention, diagnostics, advanced care, surgery, and urgent care. The role involves building strong client relationships, performing medical workups, communicating treatment plans, and collaborating with the clinical team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
This is a full-service veterinary hospital offering a wide range of services including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, urgent care, pet boarding, and grooming. The practice supports a diverse caseload, treating dogs, cats, pocket pets, ferrets, other small mammals, as well as horses and goats. Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
