Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their hybrid general practice, emergency, and specialty facility. This hospital focuses on small companion animals and offers a unique opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary environment alongside emergency veterinarians and specialists.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, supporting continuous patient care. This is a full-time position within a flexible scheduling structure designed to support work-life balance in a round-the-clock facility.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves providing general practice care within a hybrid setting, managing a variety of cases across wellness, diagnostics, and treatment of medical conditions in small animal patients. Responsibilities include collaborating closely with emergency clinicians and specialists in areas such as internal medicine, dentistry, ophthalmology, and critical care, allowing for a highly integrated approach to patient care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with structured mentorship and support available.

Practice Details
The hospital is a large, well-equipped facility featuring 15 exam rooms, three surgical suites, an in-house laboratory, and pharmacy. Advanced equipment includes CT, cone beam CT, digital radiology, multiple ultrasound units, endoscopy and specialized scopes, fluoroscopy, and advanced surgical tools. The practice follows Fear Free and hands-free radiology protocols and supports a broad range of services including general practice, emergency and critical care, internal medicine, surgery, and advanced diagnostics. The environment is designed to support high-quality, collaborative medicine with access to extensive professional development resources.

Team
The team consists of 25 DVMs, including experienced emergency veterinarians and specialists, supported by a highly skilled veterinary team. The culture is collaborative and team-oriented, with a strong emphasis on mentorship, knowledge sharing, and delivering advanced patient care across multiple disciplines.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
