Introduction
Our client is a full-service small animal hospital in Walnut Creek seeking a compassionate and skilled Associate Veterinarian to join their dedicated team. With over 30 years of providing trusted veterinary care to the local community, the practice is committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate services for pets at every stage of life.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Saturday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm and closed on Sundays. Veterinarians work within these hours, with schedules designed to support a healthy work-life balance. The role is available on a full-time basis, including shared Saturday coverage.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive care for companion animals, with clinical responsibilities including wellness exams, dental care, surgery, acupuncture, and geriatric services. Advanced diagnostics such as radiography, bloodwork, ECG/EKG, and digital dental X-rays are available to support accurate and timely treatment. The position is suited for an experienced veterinarian who thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment, ensuring pets receive attentive and compassionate care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
