Our client is a practice hiring a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join a dedicated small animal team caring for cats and dogs. With roots running deep in the community, generations of families have entrusted their pets to the practice’s care for over 30 years. Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and dental care for dogs and cats while delivering compassionate client communication and developing clear treatment plans. The role involves working collaboratively with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure excellent patient outcomes and client experiences. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates. New team members will benefit from a strong mentor network, opportunities for continuous learning through a paid Continuing Education allowance, and the chance to take an active role in shaping the future of the practice.

Practice Details
The practice operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday mornings from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, remaining closed on Sundays. Services include wellness care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, in-house diagnostics, senior pet care, cold laser therapy, and urgent care services. The hospital is just over a year old and features a clean, modern design created to support efficiency, comfort, and quality patient care. The facility includes dedicated treatment, surgical, and dental areas and is equipped with digital and dental radiography, a Companion Cold Therapy Laser, and a full in-house Idexx laboratory including two Catalyst One units, ProCyte and Sedivue DX analyzers, and three SNAP readers. Additional equipment includes two surgical monitors with blood pressure and ECG monitoring, temperature and pulse oximetry, and capnography.

Team
The team consists of 2 DVMs supported by a fantastic team of support staff. The practice also utilizes a mobile ultrasonographer for specialized cardiac, orthopedic, thyroid, ocular, pregnancy check, and abdominal ultrasounds. The team is made up of professionals who show up for each other and their clients with heart and compassion, creating a close-knit, respectful, and collaborative environment where mentorship and support are part of the culture.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
