Introduction
Our client is a well-established, full-service veterinary hospital seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join its team. The practice provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats alongside services for exotic and pocket pets, including small mammals, reptiles and birds. Established in 1983, the hospital combines preventative medicine with advanced diagnostics, surgery, internal medicine and urgent care, with a focus on professional quality, personal service and long-term relationships with clients and their pets.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical and surgical care across a varied caseload, including wellness and preventative medicine, diagnostics, dentistry, dermatology, internal medicine, pain management, cardiology, ophthalmology, endocrinology, orthopedics, exotic and pocket pet medicine, and urgent care. Responsibilities include examining and diagnosing patients, developing individualized treatment plans, performing soft tissue and dental surgery, managing urgent and hospitalized cases during regular business hours, and providing compassionate hospice and end-of-life care. Surgical services include spay and neuter procedures, mass removals and other soft tissue procedures. The veterinarian will also build strong client relationships through clear communication and education while collaborating closely with the wider hospital team. A DVM degree and valid state veterinary license in good standing are required.

Practice Details
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and Saturday from 8:00 AM to 11:30 AM, remaining closed on Sundays. The full-service facility provides advanced diagnostic capabilities including digital radiography, ultrasound, tonometry, ECG, blood testing and laboratory diagnostics. Services include wellness and preventative medicine, vaccinations, parasite control, dentistry, dermatology, senior care, nutrition, microchipping, hospice and euthanasia, internal medicine, cardiology, ophthalmology, endocrinology, orthopedics, behavior therapy, pain management, OFA certification, exotic and pocket pet care, surgery, urgent care, hospitalization, boarding and grooming. During regular business hours, the hospital provides emergency evaluation, stabilization and urgent medical treatment. Veterinarians also have access to board-certified specialists within a wider clinical network for consultation on complex cases.

The hospital has five DVMs supported by a collaborative paraprofessional team. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
