Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital for Dogs and Cats that is hiring an Associate Veterinarian on either a full-time or part-time basis. The practice has established an excellent rapport with its clients and is known for delivering compassionate, high quality veterinary care within a supportive and collaborative environment. While the primary focus is small animal medicine, there is also the opportunity to see exotics for veterinarians who have an interest in expanding their caseload.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing a full scope of general practice services, including wellness and preventative care, diagnostics, medical consultations, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care cases. This opportunity offers exposure to a varied caseload while allowing veterinarians to build long-term relationships with clients and patients. Specific hours are to be discussed, with scheduled lunch breaks for DVMs and flexibility to block time for lunches, callbacks, and medical records, helping support an efficient and balanced workday. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, offering an environment where doctors can continue developing their clinical skills while receiving support from a collaborative team.
Practice Details
The hospital offers Urgent Care alongside a full scope of GP services within a well-equipped and patient-focused clinical environment. The practice is equipped with advanced diagnostic and treatment technology, including but not limited to digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, and an in-house laboratory, supporting efficient workflow and comprehensive patient care across a wide variety of cases. Facilities include an In-Office Surgical Suite designed to support routine and advanced procedures. In addition to veterinary services, the practice also offers cold laser therapy, acupuncture, climate-controlled boarding, and pet grooming services, allowing the team to provide a broad range of care options for clients and their pets. The clinic operates daily from 8:00am to 5:00pm and is closed on major holidays.

The hospital consists of 4 DVMs supported by a dedicated team of veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The team environment encourages collaboration, mentorship, innovation, and open communication, allowing veterinarians to work closely with experienced support staff while continuing to develop their own clinical and leadership skills. Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
