Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing care for cats, dogs, reptiles, injured wildlife, avian species, and pocket pets and is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team in Voorheesville, New York. This AAHA-accredited general practice is committed to delivering exceptional care to both small animal and exotic patients while fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment. The hospital offers an opportunity for experienced veterinarians to make a meaningful impact while working with a diverse caseload.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide medical and surgical care across a varied caseload that includes small animal medicine and surgery, exotic animal medicine, wellness care, dentistry, diagnostics, and preventive medicine. Additional clinical exposure includes urgent care, advanced surgery, and laser therapy. The role requires a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with the wider veterinary team. This position is intended for experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care supported by modern diagnostic and treatment capabilities. Equipment and facilities include digital radiography, an in-house laboratory, a dedicated dental suite, a surgical suite, and modern diagnostic technology. Services offered include wellness care and exams, vaccinations, illness and injury treatment, dental care, diagnostics and imaging, spay and neuter procedures, parasite prevention, deworming, allergy and dermatology services, microchipping, urgent care, advanced surgery, and laser therapy. The practice is community-focused and dedicated to keeping pets healthy and happy through expert medical care. Hospital hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

The hospital is staffed by 4 DVMs and a great tenured support team. The environment is collaborative and supportive, providing veterinarians with the opportunity to work closely with experienced colleagues while delivering exceptional patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
