Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a mixed animal hospital seeking a Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join their team, with this role focusing exclusively on cats and dogs. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced veterinarian or a new graduate looking to practice high-quality companion animal medicine in a well-equipped hospital environment.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Part-Time Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing the full scope of general practice veterinary care for canine and feline patients. Responsibilities will include wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and client communication. Doctor hours are to be discussed. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and is closed on Sundays. Housed within a 10,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility, the practice features modern exam and treatment areas, digital radiography, ultrasound, an in-house laboratory, advanced surgical and dental capabilities, CO₂ and therapeutic laser technology, and endoscopy equipment. The hospital provides a full scope of GP services, including wellness care, preventative medicine, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry, in addition to chiropractic care.
Team
The practice is home to a team of six veterinarians supported by a well-trained support staff. This collaborative environment provides strong support for veterinarians at all stages of their careers.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
