Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a practice hiring a full-time or part-time Associate Veterinarian to join a mixed animal clinic that provides high-quality medicine with a personal, community-focused approach. Established in 2006, the practice sees dogs, cats, horses, cattle, and a wide array of exotics. The team is open to tailoring the caseload around the successful veterinarian’s interests, whether that involves treating a variety of species or focusing solely on cats and dogs. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking to develop their skills within a supportive environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, performing surgical and dental procedures, communicating effectively with clients, and creating tailored treatment plans. The role offers flexibility in caseload, allowing veterinarians to focus on the species they are most passionate about treating. Applications are welcomed from both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Practice Details
The practice operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday mornings from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm, remaining closed on Sundays. Services include wellness care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, orthopaedic surgery, in-house diagnostics, senior pet care, exotics medicine, urgent care, large animal services, and laser therapy. The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with laser therapy equipment, in-house diagnostics, urinalysis capabilities, ultrasound, x-ray, a dedicated surgical suite, and patient monitoring and anaesthetic equipment.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great team of support staff. The practice values collaboration, client education, and compassionate care, while striving to create an environment where veterinarians can practice excellent medicine and maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
