Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. This is a multi-doctor small animal practice offering advanced medical care within a spacious, well-equipped facility, providing an excellent opportunity to work with a collaborative team delivering high-quality medicine.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. The schedule is flexible, with most doctors working four days per week and rotating Saturdays. This is a full or part-time position.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The role involves examining and treating companion animals to diagnose illness or injury, performing surgical procedures, and prescribing medications as appropriate. The veterinarian will manage both wellness and sick cases, operate diagnostic equipment, and interpret results while advising clients on preventative care and long-term wellness. Responsibilities also include maintaining strong client communication and delivering high standards of patient care. The position requires confidence in small animal surgery, with reproduction experience strongly preferred, alongside strong clinical judgment and the ability to manage general practice cases independently. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available.

Practice Details
This practice offers a wide range of services including advanced care such as bone and joint surgery, dermatology, echocardiography, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, and ultrasound. Preventative care services include wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, and weight management programs. Primary care services include dentistry, diagnostics, internal medicine, hospitalization, pain management, and routine surgeries. The facility features 11 exam rooms and is equipped with ultrasound, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, cold laser, and endoscopy, supporting a diverse and dynamic caseload. The environment emphasizes high-quality medicine, collaboration, and excellent client service.

Team
The team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
