Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The practice is dedicated to providing compassionate companion animal care while fostering strong relationships with clients and their pets within a supportive and collaborative environment in the Vero Beach community.
Working Hours / Rota
This position offers either full-time or part-time opportunities. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive veterinary care within a small animal practice focused on high-quality medicine and strong client relationships. Responsibilities include managing routine appointments, performing general surgery and dentistry where appropriate, and supporting preventative care and client education. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate with experienced veterinarians while maintaining gold-standard patient care. This role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

The hospital specializes in companion animal care and emphasizes preventative medicine, client education, and long-term relationships with clients. The modern facility includes advanced diagnostics and an on-site laboratory to support patient care. Services offered include vaccinations, examinations, laboratory diagnostics, general surgery, X-rays, dermatology, dental care, and TNVR (Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate, Release). The practice is well-established and respected within the Vero Beach community and focuses on delivering compassionate care in a welcoming environment.
Team
The hospital team consists of 4 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and experienced working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
