Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team, providing care for cats and dogs in a modern, full-service clinical environment.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for delivering high-quality veterinary care, including performing examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, and carrying out surgical and dental procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and providing clear and compassionate communication to clients. The role also involves collaborating with the Principal Doctor and Practice Manager to uphold medical standards, support hospital performance, and contribute to team development. Additional duties include participating in community initiatives, supporting staff training, and ensuring a high level of patient care and client service. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with opportunities to develop skills over time.

Practice Details
The hospital is an AAHA-accredited and Fear Free certified small animal practice designed to support both patient and team wellbeing in a clean, modern environment. It offers comprehensive services including surgery, dentistry with dental radiography, internal medicine, emergency and critical care, as well as preventative healthcare such as wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite prevention, and senior pet care. Additional capabilities include in-house laboratory testing and digital X-rays. The practice operates Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. Team
The team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support staff, creating a collaborative and supportive environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
