An AAHA-accredited animal hospital in Vancouver, Washington is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its three-doctor team. Located in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, this established practice combines high-quality medical care with a welcoming and team-oriented culture. The hospital provides a diverse caseload across general practice, internal medicine, urgent care, and exotic medicine, offering excellent opportunities for skill development and career growth.

Working Hours / Rota
This position offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time schedules available. The hospital operates Monday through Saturday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm and is closed on Sundays. The consistent hours allow veterinarians to balance professional commitments with personal time while maintaining strong continuity of care for clients and patients.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for small animal and exotic patients. Key responsibilities include conducting examinations, developing treatment plans, performing procedures, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role emphasizes collaboration, communication, and adherence to best medical practices. Compassionate client engagement and a dedication to continuous professional development are essential.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
