Introduction
Our client is an AAHA-accredited, cat-friendly companion animal hospital in Vancouver, Washington seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a long-standing and progressive team. This hospital has been serving the local community since 1979 and is committed to delivering high-quality veterinary care with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and client relationships.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open six days a week: Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5:30 pm and Saturday from 8 am to 3 pm. Scheduling offers flexibility and supports a healthy work life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role includes general practice responsibilities such as preventive care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery, and dentistry. The hospital is equipped to support a wide variety of interests, and also offers services in acupuncture, orthopedic surgery, and canine rehabilitation. Veterinarians are expected to collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to the hospital’s mission of comprehensive, patient-centered care.

Practice Details
The hospital is outfitted with digital radiology, ultrasound, digital intraoral dental radiography, class IV cold laser therapy, electronic medical records, and in-house laboratory diagnostics. The practice emphasizes a holistic and modern approach to care and offers the opportunity to work alongside a team delivering both general and specialized services.

Team
The hospital currently employs six veterinarians supported by an experienced team of technicians and staff. The work environment is team-focused, mentorship-friendly, and driven by a shared commitment to excellence in medicine and service.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
