Job Description

Introduction
Our client is an AAHA accredited hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian position. The practice is a well-established small and exotic animal hospital providing comprehensive veterinary care and is seeking an experienced veterinarian who values teamwork, quality medicine, and strong client relationships.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM and is temporarily closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The role is available on a full-time or part-time basis. After-hours emergencies are referred to local emergency facilities, and there are no on-call or overnight requirements.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role is open to experienced veterinarians only. Clinical responsibilities include providing comprehensive wellness, medical, and surgical care, educating clients, and building long-term relationships with pet families. The Associate Veterinarian will collaborate closely with a supportive and experienced veterinary team and may explore or further develop clinical interests such as dentistry, ultrasound, surgery, feline medicine, or exotic animal care.

The hospital has been serving its community for over 40 years and is AAHA-accredited, reflecting a commitment to high medical standards. The practice offers a diverse and engaging caseload supported by advanced technology and thoughtful facility design, including separate waiting areas for dogs and cats. Equipment and resources include in-house ultrasound, endoscopy, comprehensive laboratory services, digital radiography, and digital dental radiography, within a paperless practice environment. Services offered include wellness care, diagnostics, dental care, surgery with access to in-house surgical specialists, and weight management programs. The culture is collaborative, ego-free, client-focused, and centered on delivering compassionate, state-of-the-art veterinary care.

The hospital is supported by 7 DVMs and a great tenured support team, fostering a collaborative, experienced, and professional working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
