Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team, providing care for dogs, cats, and horses, with the position focused on a small animal only DVM within a full-service small animal and equine practice.
Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for managing a caseload that includes wellness, surgery, dentistry, and urgent care. Responsibilities include examining patients, diagnosing conditions, performing surgical and dental procedures, and advising clients on preventative care and treatment plans. The role involves working within a collaborative, teaching-focused environment, delivering high-quality care while building strong client relationships. This opportunity is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
This is a full-service small animal and equine practice offering comprehensive veterinary care, with a focus on small animal cases for this role. The hospital is equipped with digital X-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory diagnostics, and a dental suite. Services offered include wellness care and exams, vaccinations, illness and injury care, dental care, diagnostics and imaging, spay and neuter procedures, parasite prevention, deworming, allergies and dermatology, pet surgery, urgent care, emergency care, advanced surgery, reproductive services, boarding and daycare, pharmacy, behavioral counseling, and medical grooming. The practice sees an average of 12–14 patients per day per doctor and maintains a 2:1 support staff ratio, fostering a collaborative, teaching-focused, and friendly culture.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
