Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a multi-doctor, AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Southern Georgia seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian. The hospital has proudly served its community since the 1990s, offering compassionate, high-quality veterinary care in a collaborative and education-focused environment. This opportunity is open to all experience levels.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and closed on Saturdays and Sundays. This is a part-time role with flexibility to balance professional and personal commitments.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for small animals. Duties include performing wellness exams, preventive medicine, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and client education. Additional responsibilities include managing a diverse caseload, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to the professional development of support staff. The position is suited for both experienced veterinarians and new graduates seeking mentorship.
Practice Details
The facility is fully equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiographs, ultrasound, surgical laser, and a dedicated surgical suite. The hospital provides services including wellness care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostic imaging, pain management, end-of-life care, nutrition, and vaccinations. Patient safety, comfort, and client education are key priorities, and advanced anesthetic safety and pain protocols are routinely used. The practice has a strong community presence and values continuing education and professional development.

Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
