Role Description and Responsibilities
This position offers the opportunity to perform the full scope of GP responsibilities within a busy and rewarding small animal practice. The successful candidate will be involved in preventative medicine, wellness examinations, diagnostics, medical case management, surgery, dentistry, and client education, working closely with pet owners to deliver the highest standard of care. The hospital is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, providing an environment where clinicians can continue to expand their knowledge and confidence while working alongside an experienced support team. Specific working hours are to be discussed by preference.

Practice Details
Operating Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm and remaining closed on weekends, the hospital promotes an excellent work-life balance. The practice provides a full scope of GP services alongside Urgent Care, creating a varied and engaging caseload that allows veterinarians to utilise and further develop a broad range of clinical skills. The AAHA-accredited hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment technology including, but not limited to, ultrasound, a surgical laser, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, and an in-house laboratory. Housed within a cutting-edge facility, the practice also features a dedicated surgery suite designed to support efficient workflows and high-quality patient care. Beyond its medical services, the hospital also offers pet laser therapy, boarding, grooming, bathing, and daycare, enabling it to serve as a comprehensive resource for the local pet-owning community.

You will join a team of 2 DVMs supported by dedicated veterinary technicians and client service professionals who share a commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. The hospital is led by a supportive leadership team focused on the success and well-being of its associates, fostering a collaborative culture built on teamwork, communication, and professional growth. Together, the team works seamlessly to deliver exceptional patient care and client service while maintaining a positive and supportive workplace environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
