Introduction
Our client is a small animal veterinary hospital that has been proudly serving the Ijamsville community and beyond since 2017. Dedicated to providing comprehensive care for cats and dogs, the hospital is now seeking a compassionate and motivated Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Offering a wide range of services, from routine wellness and preventive care to advanced diagnostics and treatments such as endocrinology and ophthalmology, this practice is committed to treating each patient and client like family.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., remaining closed on Sundays. This position offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time schedules available depending on the candidate’s preference. Weekend coverage is limited to Saturday mornings, and there are no after-hours or on-call responsibilities, allowing for an excellent work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care through physical examinations, wellness visits, diagnostic evaluations, surgical procedures, and dentistry. In addition to delivering high-quality medical care, the role requires strong client communication skills and a dedication to educating pet owners about their companion’s health and well-being. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, as the hospital values mentoring and supporting professional development within a collaborative team environment.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with modern diagnostic and surgical facilities, enabling the team to manage a wide variety of cases. In addition to wellness and preventive medicine, the practice offers diagnostic testing, dentistry, general surgery, and more advanced care in areas such as endocrinology and ophthalmology. Team
The practice is staffed by seven dedicated doctors of veterinary medicine, supported by a highly skilled team of technicians and support staff. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
