Our client is a busy, full-service small animal veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their growing team. The practice provides comprehensive care to cats and dogs and offers a diverse caseload that blends general practice, urgent care, and advanced procedures. Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates weekday hours between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm, with Saturday hours from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday hours from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Scheduling is flexible, with openness to full-time or part-time arrangements and discussion around a fair weekend rotation to support both patient care and work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will manage an average daily caseload of 17–20 patients, delivering high-quality care across wellness visits, soft tissue surgery, dentistry, urgent and emergency cases, and select advanced procedures. You will work closely with the team to provide thorough diagnostics, effective treatment plans, and clear client communication. This role is well suited to a confident early-career veterinarian or an experienced clinician who is comfortable managing a varied caseload and eager to continue developing their clinical skills.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, in-house laboratory capabilities, dental radiography, a small surgical suite, and access to traveling ultrasound services, with plans underway to add a dedicated dental X-ray machine. Services offered include general wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, spay and neuter procedures, dermatology, pain management, grooming, urgent care, and select advanced surgeries, creating a dynamic and engaging clinical environment.

Team
You will be joining a close-knit team currently led by one veterinarian, with plans to add an additional DVM to support growth. The hospital maintains a 2:1 support staff–to–doctor ratio, fostering a collaborative, mentorship-focused, and low-drama culture where teamwork and professional development are prioritized.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
