Job Description

Introduction
A well established small animal hospital in Tumwater, Washington is seeking a part time Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative four doctor team. The practice is known for delivering high quality veterinary care in a modern clinical setting while maintaining strong relationships with clients and local animal welfare organizations. This opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian looking to practice excellent medicine within a supportive team environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:15am to 6:30pm and Saturday from 9:00am to 3:00pm. This position is part time with a schedule of approximately two days per week, offering flexibility while supporting consistent patient care.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care including wellness and preventive medicine, diagnostics, internal medicine, dentistry and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include guiding patient care from consultation through treatment, maintaining accurate medical records, communicating clearly with clients and working closely with the veterinary team to maintain strong clinical standards.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
