Job Description

This privately owned hospital treats small animals, some exotics and wildlife (at the doctor’s discretion). They currently employ 10 DVMs and have a huge team of 58 support staff! Outside of their full service GP offerings, they also perform orthopedic surgery and offer reproduction services in house, and would welcome doctors with any additional interests (particularly in eastern medicine, acupuncture and rehab). The hospital is very well-equipped with digital x-ray and digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, CO2 laser, in house IDEXX labs including PT/PTT, blood gases as well as CBC/CHEM/Lytes, 9 exam rooms including one feline-only exam room, a contagious room and a comfort room for euthanasias, Dental suite, Feline only ICU, 2 surgery suites, O2 cages and they will soon be adding a CT scanner! The AAHA accredited hospital allows doctors flexibility within their schedules, with appointment lengths set to each doctor’s preference. The full-time schedule would ideally include Friday, Saturday and Sunday (30 hours is full-time), but alternative schedules can be discussed. New graduates are encouraged to apply as mentorship is plentiful!
