Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary hospital seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their team. They are looking for a full-time veterinarian but are open to part-time applicants. The hospital primarily treats cats and dogs, with very occasional rabbits at the doctor’s discretion.

Role Description and Responsibilities
This role involves a full scope of general practice responsibilities, including routine consultations and broader clinical duties. The position offers flexibility in scheduling, with the option of 8- or 10-hour shifts and rotating weekends. The hospital is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, providing an inclusive opportunity for candidates at different stages of their careers.

Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Saturday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sunday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. It is equipped with modern veterinary technology, including digital radiography and ultrasound. The practice is AAHA accredited and is committed to using fear-free techniques whenever possible. Services offered include a full scope of general practice care as well as acupuncture.

Team
The team consists of three DVMs, supported by a dynamic group of skilled professionals, fostering a collaborative working environment.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
