Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a hospital seeking a veterinarian to join their well-established small animal practice. They are hiring for a Veterinarian to support a caseload consisting of dogs and cats within a compassionate, progressive, and fast-paced clinical environment.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Tuesday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Wednesday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Thursday from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM with closure from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, and Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The practice is closed on Saturday and Sunday. The role is full-time.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The veterinarian will provide a wide range of small animal clinical services including wellness exams, preventive care, diagnostics, medical procedures, dentistry, and surgery. This role is ideal for a doctor who enjoys surgery, thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and values collaboration with a skilled and experienced support team.
Practice Details
The practice offers comprehensive small animal services ranging from routine wellness care to advanced medical procedures. Services include preventive care, diagnostics, dentistry, general medicine, surgery, senior pet care, puppy and kitten care, and ongoing wellness support. The culture emphasizes teamwork, humor, compassion, and high-quality medicine within a well-structured environment supported by knowledgeable technicians, an experienced practice manager, and additional regional operational support.
Team
The team includes 2 experienced DVMs and a group of skilled technicians and support staff who manage much of the clinical workflow, creating an efficient and collaborative environment.

Candidate Requirements 

  • Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
  • Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
  • Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
