Introduction
A well-established, four-doctor AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Tucson, Arizona is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join its collaborative and progressive team. Known for delivering high-quality medicine within a supportive, community-focused environment, this practice offers an excellent opportunity for veterinarians looking to develop their skills while working alongside an experienced and engaged team.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital operates Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm, and is closed on Sundays, with scheduling designed to provide consistency while maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive small animal care including wellness, diagnostics, surgery, and dentistry, managing cases from consultation through treatment while building strong client relationships and collaborating closely with the veterinary team to deliver high standards of patient care.

This is a modern, well-equipped hospital offering advanced diagnostics and surgical capabilities, including orthopedics and access to internal specialty consultation, supporting a high standard of evidence-based medicine within a structured and efficient clinical environment.
Team
You will be joining a team of four veterinarians supported by experienced technicians and support staff, within a collaborative culture that emphasizes mentorship, continuous learning, and shared clinical excellence.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
