Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a veterinary practice seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their small animal hospital. The clinic provides primary care for cats, dogs, and pocket pets and is looking for a veterinarian who is passionate about delivering high-quality medicine within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. This is a full-time position with no weekend hours required, offering a consistent schedule that supports a healthy work-life balance.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care across a range of services, including wellness medicine and general practice. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing and treating cases, building strong client relationships, and working closely with the wider team to ensure excellent standards of care. The role offers the opportunity to contribute ideas and collaborate on clinical approaches within a supportive environment. This position is suited to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
The practice provides primary care services for small animals and pocket pets and fosters a collaborative, supportive culture focused on delivering consistent, high-quality care. The hospital is actively involved in the local community through partnerships with shelters and the humane society, offering meaningful opportunities for community engagement. Team
The hospital is staffed by two DVMs supported by a highly collaborative and supportive team, creating an environment where teamwork, communication, and quality patient care are at the forefront of daily practice.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
