Job Description

Introduction
Our client is a small animal practice providing high-quality veterinary care to cats and dogs and is currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The clinic focuses on delivering excellent general practice medicine while maintaining a calm, supportive environment for both clients and staff.

Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Saturdays from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with the practice closed on Sundays. Doctor hours are open to discussion, and the role is available on either a full-time or part-time basis, offering flexibility depending on the successful candidate’s preferences.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for a varied general practice caseload including wellness and preventative care, sick visits, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and diagnostics. This position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is confident managing routine GP cases and contributing clinically within a small, close-knit team.

Practice Details
The practice sees an average daily patient volume of approximately 11–14 patients per doctor and offers a full scope of general practice services. The clinic is well equipped with digital X-ray, an in-house laboratory, a surgical suite, and additional modern tools to support efficient and high-quality patient care.

Team
The team currently consists of one DVM supported by a strong support staff with an approximate 2:1 support staff ratio. The working environment is described as collaborative, supportive, and respectful, with a refreshingly low level of day-to-day chaos, allowing veterinarians to focus on patient care and teamwork.
