Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a well-established, AAHA-accredited practice in Tracy, California, seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative team. This full-service hospital has provided high-quality veterinary care to dogs and cats in the community since 2014.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, and is closed on weekends. This role offers full or part-time schedule flexibility with no after-hours or weekend responsibilities.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will deliver comprehensive medical services including wellness exams, internal medicine, dental procedures, soft tissue surgery, and preventive care. The position requires strong communication skills and a commitment to building lasting client relationships. The role is open to experienced veterinarians only.
Practice Details
The practice is equipped with in-house laboratory capabilities, digital radiography, ultrasound, and blood testing, supporting accurate diagnostics and efficient treatment. Services include general wellness care, dentistry, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, and surgery. The clinic operates under AAHA standards and fosters a patient-centered, supportive culture.
Team
The team currently includes 1 DVM and a group of dedicated support staff. The environment is cooperative and quality-focused, with strong support from both clinical and administrative leadership.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
