Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their established small animal practice. Serving the community since 1984, this AAHA-accredited hospital provides comprehensive care exclusively to canine and feline patients. The role is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with dedicated mentorship available.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position, with flexibility for part-time or rotating schedules if desired. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm and is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care to dogs and cats. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, weight management programs, microchipping, and wellness testing. The role includes general surgery such as spays and neuters, dentistry including dental X-rays and periodontics, internal medicine, urology, allergy management, geriatric medicine, hospice care, and pain management. Additional services include OFA X-rays, PennHip evaluations, ultrasound, anesthesia, hospitalization, oxygen and transfusion therapy, intensive care, isolation ward management, full diagnostics, and maintaining accurate medical records. The veterinarian will work collaboratively with the team to deliver high-quality medicine and exceptional client communication.

Practice Details
This AAHA-accredited hospital has been serving pets since 1984 and is deeply rooted in the local community. The facility offers advanced diagnostic and treatment capabilities including ultrasound, OFA X-ray, PennHip evaluations, Tonopen, digital radiology, dental X-rays, in-house laboratory, in-house pharmacy, surgical suite, intensive care, and isolation ward. Services include preventive care, internal medicine, general surgery, dentistry, radiology, urology, hospice care, and full diagnostic workups. Hands-free radiology is practiced, and the team brings over 135 years of combined experience to patient care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
