Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a privately owned hospital specializing in preventative veterinary care and early detection of health issues, providing warmth and exceptional care in a clean, relaxing atmosphere for both pets and pet parents alike. Established in January 2009, this full-service hospital sees cats and dogs and is open to seeing exotics. They are hiring for an Associate Veterinarian position and are open to both full-time and part-time candidates.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will be responsible for the full scope of GP responsibilities, delivering high-quality veterinary care across a varied caseload. The hospital is open to discussing scheduling arrangements for the right candidate. While they would prefer someone with experience, they are also open to considering a new graduate depending on their confidence level.
Practice Details
The hospital operates Monday through Thursday from 8am to 6pm and Friday from 8am to 4pm, with the practice closed on Saturdays and Sundays. The clinic is equipped with the latest technology, including a Tono Pen tonometer for glaucoma exams, ultrasound, laser therapy equipment, digital and dental x-rays, electronic IDEXX Neo systems, and in-house laboratories. The facility includes three exam rooms and offers a full scope of GP services. The practice follows Fear Free principles, and some of the technicians are AFFP Certified Veterinary professionals.
Team
The team currently consists of one full-time DVM and a great team of support staff.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
