Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a full-service veterinary hospital hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The practice has been serving the Tampa community since 1984 and provides comprehensive small animal care with a focus on high-quality medicine, patient wellness, and strong relationships with pet owners.
Working Hours / Rota
This position offers either full-time or part-time opportunities. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, and is closed on Sundays.
Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will manage a varied caseload including wellness care, diagnostics, urgent care cases, and surgical procedures. The role involves collaborating closely with the clinical team to deliver high-quality veterinary medicine while maintaining strong relationships with clients. This position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.
Practice Details
The hospital is a well-established small animal veterinary practice providing a wide spectrum of services including wellness and prevention, testing and diagnostics, advanced care, surgical procedures, urgent care, and pet boarding. The practice also offers acupuncture services for small animal patients. Operating since 1984, the hospital has built a strong reputation within the Tampa community and maintains a collaborative environment where veterinarians are supported in managing both routine and complex cases.
Team
The hospital team consists of 3 DVMs supported by a great tenured support team, creating a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
