Our client is a hospital seeking a part-time Associate Veterinarian to join their team. Caring for cats and dogs, this full-service small animal hospital provides comprehensive veterinary care supported by advanced technology, modern equipment, and a collaborative clinical environment. Role Description and Responsibilities
As an Associate Veterinarian, you will provide comprehensive patient care through physical examinations, disease diagnosis, treatment planning, and preventative medicine tailored to each patient’s needs. Responsibilities include developing problem-based diagnostic and treatment plans, interpreting diagnostic test results, maintaining accurate and detailed medical records, and communicating effectively with clients regarding patient care. Clinical duties include performing routine and complex surgical procedures such as spays, neuters, abdominal exploratory surgeries, and mass removals, as well as routine and advanced dental procedures including extractions and oral surgery. You will develop treatment plans for hospitalized patients, coordinate care with referral hospitals when necessary, participate in clinical rounds, and contribute to the education and development of support staff. The role requires collaboration with colleagues to maintain high standards of patient care, teamwork, and client service. This position is open to experienced veterinarians.

Practice Details
This small animal hospital is equipped with advanced veterinary technology including ultrasound equipment, heated hydraulic surgery tables, and digital radiography. Services include routine wellness examinations, preventative healthcare, comprehensive bloodwork, disease screening, behaviour and anxiety evaluations, nutritional consultations, dental cleaning and consultations, surgery consultations, diagnostic imaging including radiography and ultrasound, flea, tick and heartworm prevention, heartworm and tick-borne disease testing, deworming, fecal testing, allergy management, treatment of skin, coat, ear and eye conditions, pain management, wound care, dental trauma management, sick patient care, vaccinations, and microchipping. The hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is closed on Sundays. Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
