Job Description
Introduction
Our client is a hospital providing small animal veterinary care and is currently hiring for an Associate Veterinarian. The hospital treats dogs and cats and supports a long-standing, well-established client base.
Working Hours / Rota
The hospital is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and Saturday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays. This is a full-time position.
Role Description and Responsibilities
In this role, you will deliver high-quality primary veterinary care across a broad caseload, including routine consultations, preventative healthcare, diagnostics, and medical case management. You will perform soft-tissue surgeries and dental procedures, interpret laboratory results and imaging, and develop clear, effective treatment plans tailored to each patient. The role involves working collaboratively with experienced veterinary nurses and support staff, maintaining accurate clinical records, and providing excellent client communication around diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care. Both experienced veterinarians and new graduates are welcome to apply.
Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with hands-free radiology and full diagnostic capabilities and is supported by Fear Free Certified associates. The practice has maintained AAHA accreditation since 1959 and has been in operation for 70 years. The team will soon be moving into a brand new, larger, state-of-the-art facility, further enhancing the ability to deliver advanced veterinary care. Services offered include advanced care, dermatology, echocardiography, EKG, management of feline hyperthyroidism, soft tissue surgery, Tonopen use, and dental X-rays.
Team
The veterinary team consists of three experienced veterinarians with a combined 50+ years of clinical experience, fostering a collaborative and supportive working environment focused on high standards of patient care.
Candidate Requirements
- Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
- Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
- Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
