Introduction
Our client is a hospital hiring for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join their collaborative small animal team. This practice provides comprehensive care for dogs and cats and is committed to delivering high-quality medicine in a supportive, Fear-Free focused environment. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates.

Working Hours / Rota
This is a full-time position. The hospital is open Monday–Friday 8:00 am–6:00 pm and Saturday 8:00 am–4:00 pm, and is closed on Sundays. Weekend coverage includes Saturdays as part of the rota.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Associate Veterinarian will provide comprehensive medical care to canine and feline patients. Clinical responsibilities include wellness exams, vaccinations, parasite control, weight management programs, microchipping, and wellness testing. The role includes general surgery such as spays and neuters, orthopedic surgery, laser surgery, dentistry including dental X-rays, dermatology, internal medicine, urology, allergy management, geriatric medicine, hospice care, and pain management. Additional duties include hospitalization, anesthesia, oxygen and transfusion therapy, video otoscopy, radiology, full diagnostics, and maintaining accurate medical records. The veterinarian will work closely with the team to deliver high standards of patient care and client communication.

Practice Details
The hospital is equipped with digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, surgical laser, therapeutic cold laser therapy, video scope, advanced anesthetic monitoring equipment, computerized anesthesia, EKG, Tonopen, OFA X-ray capability, and a fully equipped in-house laboratory and pharmacy. The facility supports advanced and primary care services including dermatology, orthopedic surgery, isolation ward capabilities, and full diagnostic services. Hands-free radiology is practiced, and the hospital fosters a Fear-Free focused environment designed to support both patients and staff. The team culture emphasizes collaboration and high standards of preventive and healing care.

Candidate Requirements 

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
